Hospice of Wichita Falls

Coping with a terminal illness can be a daunting experience – not only for the dying patient, but also for his or her loved ones. We understand there are tough decisions when faced with end-of-life care. Questions may include:

“What kind of end-of-life care will I need or want?”

“Where will I receive this care?”

“Which hospice provider will best meet my needs?”

Hospice of Wichita Falls has brought comfort, compassion and expert end-of-life care to more than 13,000 North Texas patients and their families since 1985. Hospice of Wichita Falls offers expert symptom management, spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families in a variety of settings including their private home, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and the W. Erle and Emma White Hospice Inpatient Center.

Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers. After the death of a patient, bereavement care is provided to the family for at least one year.

While we care for patients who are dying, the focus at Hospice of Wichita Falls is on how our patients LIVE. The patient’s quality of life at the end of life is of utmost importance, and we strive to provide the care and comfort to each patient that will allow each one to be pain and symptom free so that they can achieve their end-of-life goals.
