Food pantry is open on the fourth Thursday of every month from 4:00-5:00pm. The Food Pantry only services those who live in the Iowa Park Area. It is a drive-up pantry to make it safer, easier, and more accessible for the community. If you want to sign-up for text reminder alerts, please text "PANTRY" to (844)-484-0921. Participants will receive a text on Monday from the First United Methodist Church’s secretary and another reminder on commodity day.
There are several volunteers who get the bags of food ready for distribution and several others who work the distribution. They give out approximately 90 food boxes (bags) in November and December. The rest of the year, it varies from 40 to 70 boxes (bag). If you are an Iowa Park resident, please come by. You can sign up to volunteer and/or pick up items yourself.
