LGBTQ Peer Support Groups
There are free biweekly peer support group for LGBTQ teens / adults in and around Wichita Falls, Texas. The groups are non-therapeutic, but a licensed clinician will be present at all meetings to facilitate discussions and welcome guests. Refreshments will be provided. Currently the group holds a weekly social gathering Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm for adolescents aged 11-15, as well as Facebook support groups for LGBTQIA+ adults, and families.
The current group is open to the public, and visitors must be 18+ to attend. An adolescent group (ages 12-17) is in the planning stages and will be announced soon.
