Region 9 ESC Adult Education & Literacy
The Adult Education and Literacy Program provides adults with sufficient basic education that enables them to effectively acquire the basic educational skills necessary for literate functioning; participate in job training and retraining programs; obtain and retain employment; and continue their education to at least the level of completion of secondary school and preparation for post-secondary education. They have many partners throughout our 11 counties of the North Texas Workforce Board and continually seek to build new partnerships to improve our services to communities and provide our classes at no cost to the students.
