  • X-Ray
  • Some Medical Supplies
  • Other procedures determined to be necessary by the medical provider

Acute care services available. (Services listed below)

The Vinson Health Center (VHC) serves as a resource for development programming in areas of health promotion, health maintenance, and health education.

Clinic Appointments may be made by calling the Vinson Health Center at 940-397-4231. Students are encouraged to make appointments in advance, whenever possible. Same-day appointments are available, schedule permitting.

Sick time is offered every Tuesday and Friday from 8am-11am for acute illnesses. Students must call to schedule an appointment on the same day sick time is offered.

Students unable to keep an appointment must call to cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a “No Show Fee” and to free up the appointment time for other students who may need it.

Students must bring their student ID card to receive service at VHC.

Students may be referred to outside medical providers for more serious problems that exceed the Vinson Health Center’s capabilities.

MSU has a contractual agreement with Trott’s Callfield Drug store to provide prescribed medications at a discounted rate for enrolled MSU students. Student may receive this discount by presenting a valid MSU ID card.
