Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD)

Living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) isn’t easy — but you don’t have to face it alone.

Our ADRD grant is here to empower individuals and caregivers by connecting you with the education, support, and local resources you need for early detection, diagnosis, and ongoing care.

Here’s what we’re doing for you and your loved ones:

  • Promoting Early Detection & Diagnosis
    • Because the sooner you know, the sooner you can act.
  • Building Community Connections
    • We’re bringing people, services, and support together to create a stronger network of care.
  • Conducting Community Assessments
    • To better understand and meet the real needs of those affected by ADRD.
  • Training Dementia Resource Specialists
    • Ensuring that help is not only available — but expert and compassionate.
  • Assisting Caregivers
    • With resources, referrals, and emotional support tailored just for you.
  • Standing With You
    • Every step of the way. Because no one should navigate this journey alone.

This initiative reflects the priorities of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) — strengthening Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young counties health through knowledge, connection, and care.
