Create Better Health is Utah’s SNAP-Ed program dedicated to empowering individuals and families to make smart, healthy, and affordable food choices—right where they are. Whether you’re preparing meals on a budget, looking for ways to stay active, or just want to feel better every day, Create Better Health offers practical tools to support your wellness journey.

Through hands-on classes, simple recipes, and easy-to-use resources, this program helps people of all ages build skills in:

  • Physical activity tips that fit your daily routine
  • Smart shopping strategies to stretch your food dollars
  • Cooking healthy meals that taste amazing and fit your lifestyle
  • Reading nutrition labels and making balanced food choices

But we’re not stopping there…

We’re bringing learning to life with an exciting, interactive twist — BINGO-style lessons that turn healthy habits into a game!

Each Bingo game presents a new challenge or tip — from trying a new veggie to swapping sugary drinks for water. As you complete the activities, you’ll mark your card off and work toward a healthy win — prizes, recognition, or just a whole lot of fun!

It’s a fresh, engaging way to motivate all ages, build confidence, and keep the energy high in every session.

  • Low-sodium canned vegetables: Tomatoes, corn, green beans
  • Frozen fruits and vegetables: Berries, broccoli, spinach, stir-fry mixes

  • Canned tuna or salmon: Packed in water for lean protein
  • Cooking essentials: Olive or canola oil, vinegar, herbs & spices
